Mission 500 to Auction at ISC WEST for Children in Need
This auction will feature a number of pieces valued between US $2500 and US $5000 donated by World Vision and artist Barry Johnston. The sculptures will be displayed at the Fair thanks to ISC organizers providing a space at the main entrance booth .
Johnston has been engaged in sculpture for more than 30 years after earning his bachelor's degree in architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He has received numerous awards such as the President of the National Arts Club, the Leonard J. Meiselman Alliance of Artists of America Award, and the Audubon Artists Gold Medal of Honor.
"We are proud to support this highly respected organization that is changing the lives of children in need around the world," said Ed Nichols, industrial vice president of the ISC events portfolio.
Since 2008, ISC West and Mision 500 have secured three other sponsors in the industry, which sponsor 10 children such as Inalarm, security distributors in Mexico, Giprex Mexico, and Samsung GVI, which increases the number of favored children to more than 190.
The first sponsors of Mision 500 were Altronix, HID Global, ISC West, LRG Communications, ExpoSeguridad Mexico, SIA (Security Industry Association), Security Products Magazine and Quaddrix.
