The new AXIS Q1941-E camera, from the Swedish manufacturer Axis Communications, allows to detect a person who is at a distance of up to approximately 400 meters, making it an ideal camera for the protection of the perimeter of facilities where the early detection of an intrusion attempt is critical.

This can be the case of a summer house or gated community during recess, when people want to enjoy rest and tranquility.

This camera is compatible with live monitoring software, such as the Axis Camera Companion, a free solution that is downloaded on any mobile device connected to the internet, through which you can see live what is happening in the place, and send different types of alert: from sending a message to another mobile to visualize what is happening, until an audible alarm is issued. All these tools make AXIS Q1941-E an ideal ally also for those who are absent from their homes during the holidays or holidays.

The bullet-style camera has an outdoor design, making it ideal for installation in the garden as well as in the front of the company or complex. Its exceptional image contrast provides reliable detection and quick verification and, in addition, if any attempt to damage or steal the camera occurs, its shock detection system generates an automatic alarm.

With this equipment, due to its great range, it is also possible to detect suspicious vehicles and depending on the lens, its viewing range is up to 5km away. There is a selection of five lens alternatives (7mm, 13mm, 19mm, 35mm and 60mm) that optimize detection performance to meet all needs.

"In total darkness, and despite rain, fog or smoke, the new Axis thermal camera offers a powerful performance of video analytics inside the camera, with a low rate of false alarms, reducing the time between the detection of really important facts, such as the attempted robbery of a home, and the response of the security team before this happens," explains Paulo Chinellato, axis communications sales director for South America.

AXIS Q1941-E Thermal Network Camera will be available in the first quarter of 2016 through Axis distribution channels.
