During the past march mez the conficker worm remained in the first position of detections due to the large number of new variants it presented, as reported by the computer security company Eset.The Waledac Trojan, which appeared in February as fake Valentine's Day postcards, also gave variations through *spam* emails that according to Eset, pretend to be news sent by news agencies about an explosion in different cities of the world.

An attack technique also appeared at the end of the month that first infected *routers* and modems with Linux platforms.
