Latin America. HID will participate in Expo Seguridad México, an event that will take place from June 24 to 26 at the Banamex Center. The company will be present at booth 2741 alongside its parent company, Assa Abloy, where it will showcase HID Amico biometric facial recognition readers for the first time.
The new devices integrate facial recognition technology validated by the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), designed for real-time identity verification and the reduction of unauthorized access in different environments.
During the event, HID will also present other solutions such as:
HID Mobile Access, a system that turns the mobile phone into a digital credential for access control.
HID Sign readers, supporting multiple authentication technologies
HID Vento line, mobile readers and credentials aimed at medium-sized organizations.
HID Aero and HID Mercury controllers, modular platforms with integration options for access control systems.
HID FARGO printers, including the HDP5000e and HDP6600, for issuing physical credentials in a variety of configurations.
HID FARGO Connect, a cloud-based platform for card issuance in distributed environments.
In addition to the technology exhibits, HID will participate in the fair's academic program. Carolina Restelli, Marketing Manager for Physical Access Control Solutions in Latin America, will be moderating the panel "Empowering Women's Leadership", organized by the SIA Women in Security Forum, on Wednesday, June 25 at 1:45 p.m.
For his part, Alejandro Espinosa, Director of Sales for Northern Latin America, will give the talk "The Digital Transformation of Access Control in Higher Education", on Thursday, June 26 at 3:15 p.m., as part of the SIA Education program.
In this space, HID will share details of the project developed with Tecnológico de Monterrey, an institution that implemented a multi-service application based on HID Mobile Access technology, being the first university in Latin America to adopt this model.
