In his new role, Giresi will lead the company's initiatives in business-wide adoption of artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, product security, and digital productivity and customer experience. "A strong digital and IT vision and execution are critical to our strategy to continue to lead the industry and constantly increase the value we deliver to our customers," said Giordano (Gio) Albertazzi, CEO of Vertiv. "Mike deeply understands the opportunities of a rapidly evolving AI, digital and IT space and has the experience and focus on execution to bolster our competitive advantages." Giresi said, "I'm excited to join Vertiv, helping global teams create incremental value through advancing the company's digital strategy initiatives. By continuing to evolve and improve Vertiv's customer experience, product development, and manufacturing capabilities, we will take the next steps toward accelerated adoption of AI and digitization for hyperscale, enterprise, and edge customers." Giresi most recently served as chief digital officer at consumer electronics company Molex and has more than 30 years of IT experience, more than 20 years of which have been in executive leadership roles. He has been Chief Digital and Technology Officer at Aramark, CIO of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., CIO of Tory Burch, CIO of Direct Brands (Columbia House & Doubleday) and CIO and Senior Vice President of IT at Godiva Chocolatier. - Publicidad - Giresi holds an EMBA from Saint Joseph University — Erivan K.
