International. Johnson Controls has just announced the launch of a new touch keyboard for fourth-generation IQ panels, called the IQ Keypad.
According to the manufacturer, this new solution has the ability to connect to control IQ panels using Power G, a JCI wireless technology. Similarly, Johnson Controls pointed out that the IQ Keypad provides the following features and functionalities to end users:
- Up to 5 keypads per system.
- Battery life: 3 years in typical operation.
- Additional version that supports proximity tags.
- Size suitable for 2" x 4" electrical boxes.
In addition, IQ Keypad is a battery-powered capacitive keyboard compatible with IQ4 NS, IQ4 Hub, and IQ4 NS version 4.5.0 onwards. Thus, it offers an intuitive interface that allows you to control the basic functions of the system.
