Claro is recognized as a critical telecommunications infrastructure company by both the Puerto Rican and U.S. governments. Therefore, it is essential for the company to strictly comply with the rules that govern it, among which is the implementation of effective access control in all its facilities. However, the company's existing access control system had become obsolete due to a lack of updates. For this reason, a modernization project was initiated with [Genetec](https://www.genetec.com/) to strengthen corporate security. **Solution** - Unified and intuitive electronic security: Every security task is optimized within the unified platform. The team can easily manage access control and videos, and respond to alarms. They also use the Security Center Mobile app for remote management. - Simplified visitor management: Operators can easily enroll visitors, assign physical access rights, and track visitors' movements through their spaces. They can also generate reports to support audits and regulatory compliance. - Improved cybersecurity and redundancy: Thanks to Genetec Streamvault, the Claro team has strengthened cybersecurity and redundancy. The infrastructure solution is highly scalable and comes with the latest cybersecurity standards. - Hassle-free upgrade project: Claro needed the system to be fully available during the transition to Security Center.
