Motorola Solutions announced its new Dimetra Connect solution and Tetra MXP660 radio that allow field officers to automatically switch between land mobile radio (LMR) and broadband networks. Together, they help teams stay connected to their communications lifeline, supporting critical collaboration, productivity, and security. "The ability to automatically switch from MRL to broadband when we enter buildings or densely built-up areas is essential to our missions," says Mogens Sandberg Brix, an officer with the Greater Copenhagen Fire Brigade. "Our teams can stay connected while fighting fires or venturing through countless harsh environments, without losing sight of their priority of protecting life and property."
