Founded in Helsingborg, Sweden, in 1934 by Erik Philip-Sörensen, Securitas has grown from a traditional night guard operation to a global leader in security solutions. In the mid-1940s, Securitas began integrating technology into customer solutions, growing rapidly after World War II. Securitas pioneered automatic access control and made history by launching the world's first connected online ATM in 1968. By elevating the human presence and expertise with technology, Securitas has helped clients focus on their core business – continuous development that laid the foundation for what is now Securitas Technology. - Publicidad - Since 1958, founder Erik Philip-Sörensen had the vision to establish Securitas' values of integrity, support and vigilance, documenting them to protect the profession and ensure its integrity.
