State authorities reported that they strengthened their video surveillance networks with the commissioning of new cameras, road arches and servers for data storage.

Furthermore, the State Center for Command, Communications, Computers, Control, Coordination and Intelligence (C5I) was transformed into the Center for Intelligence and Technology (SITEC).

The initiative includes the modernization of the monitoring center and the emergency room, as well as the expansion of the video surveillance system from 320 devices to 1,080 (including 72 multisensors). From this point on, the increment in the installed capacity of the cameras increases to 72%.

The [Secretaría de Seguridad Publica de Michoacán](https://ssp.michoacan.gob.mx/) informed that, as a result, the renewal of 11 regional numbers of the SITEC was carried out, as was the appearance of the new ones in the municipalities of Zacapu and Maravatio.
