Video technology provider [Milestone Systems](https://www.milestonesys.com/) has partnered with the [Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE)](https://cve.mitre.org/) program, taking on the role of Numbering Authority (CNA). The fundamental purpose of the program is to identify and catalog cybersecurity issues with the collaboration of organizations around the world. As the adoption of responsible technology practices is becoming a critical requirement in our industry, we consider it essential that users feel safe knowing that they can trust the video technology they use". In this way, cybersecurity threats reported through the Milestone website will be logged using CVE identification numbers.
