Android™ customers will connect to Alarm.com security controls and smart home directly from the car's display. The simple interface helps drivers and passengers perform key security and smart home actions. With a single tap, customers can activate "Home" and "Away" scenes, remotely open and close the garage door, and receive real-time alerts on the vehicle's display, such as safety events, arming reminders, and other location-based reminders. "Alarm.com has long focused on using smart home systems to provide smooth transitions when returning home or leaving. We are pleased to bring together our application expertise and the power of the complete Alarm.com system together with Android Auto to further automate our customers' daily routines," said Dan Kerzner, president of Platforms Business at Alarm.com.
