A survey conducted by Hornet Security of 820 companies has shown how ransomware attacks not only individuals, but also companies of all sizes.

Small businesses, large corporations and even government headquarters; No organization seems to be free from the risk of information hijacking through malicious software that has become a challenge for cybersecurity teams around the world.

**Ransomware findings**
[Ransomware Help](https://latam.ransomwarehelp.com/) reported that thanks to the [Hornet Security](https://www.hornetsecurity.com/es/) survey it was established that a quarter of the companies victims of ransomware have a payroll of between 201 and 500 employees. In contrast, the least affected companies are those with between 1 and 50 employees. These and other results are detailed in the following table:
