Now it's Ecuador's turn. In this context, Alai Secure has just hired Mariela Miranda Vega as the new Account Manager in the country. In Alai Secure she will be in charge of leading the operation and team in Ecuador. **Expectations about the Ecuadorian market** Regarding M2M/IoT connectivity, a study by Gartner ICT (2022) calculated that Latin America will have a market potential of 4,155 million euros by 2024 and a compound annual growth rate of 17%, which seems not to have gone unnoticed by Alai Secure. - Publicidad - Additionally, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) estimates that Ecuador's economy will grow by 2.9% during 2023 and that the increase in its Gross Domestic Product (GDP) will be one of the highest in South America.
