The Ministry of Government, through the Local Mayor's Office, inaugurated the Monitoring Center that will operate in the Police Station of the town as of today. For this project, integral technology was implemented that articulates infrastructure, video surveillance cameras, assertive and effective communication channels. Additionally, the Monitoring Center has a video wall, a videoconferencing system, a closed circuit TV and visualization, all designed to be in operation 24/7. The new video surveillance network is interconnected with the 257 security cameras that currently operate in Barrios Unidos and with the cameras acquired in the past term by the Ministry of Security that are located in the C4, all in order to have greater depth and scope to the problems that today afflict Usaquén.
