The organization explained that based on close monitoring of coronavirus developments, recent reports from public health authorities and an extensive survey with its e-safety partners, the event will now be held in July, on dates yet to be confirmed.

Will Wise, VP Grou of Reed Exhibitions, said: "This is not a decision we have taken lightly; our customers, partners, and staff have worked diligently to create an experience for the industry through converged safety innovations, public safety best practices, and strong community collaboration. It is imperative that we maintain our commitment to prioritizing the health and safety of everyone involved with ISC West. Reed Exhibitions would like to express its sincere thanks to all exhibitors, partners, attendees, suppliers, media and staff, in addition to our title sponsor SIA, for their support and communication during this difficult time and we look forward to welcoming safety and the global public. safety community to Las Vegas in July."

The cancellation of some exhibiting companies and the uncertainty of many travelers who still did not define their attendance were also important causes to make this decision.

On February 27, the organization had confirmed that the show was going to be held, although current conditions reversed that initial decision.
