International. Johnson Controls unveiled the new version 8.20 of EntraPass, which further simplifies users' remote access to the EntraPass Go mobile app.
With EntraPass v8.20, users of the EntraPass Go Pass mobile app will have better search capabilities and other efficient updates that offer remote and real-time access. The company explained that EntraPass Go Pass requests will no longer be associated with a given SmartLink, so it will no longer be necessary to configure each connection. Now, users will be able to access any incoming connection almost without any hindrance.
Another improvement of EntraPass v8.20 has to do with the functionality of searching users and cards. Users will be able to search for a profile without having to close the menu, so you no longer need to start each search from scratch. This solves the problem of having to reopen the search menu if a user had entered the wrong profile.
This update also makes the EntraPass security management software available to macOS users. EntraPass v8.0 will be compatible with the High Sierra system or higher.
In addition, the EntraPass v8.20 model includes an "email" field in CSV report exports, which will particularly benefit hattrix partners. This feature allows an administrator to select a set of accounts or owners and export the email addresses, along with other account statistics.
On the other hand, EntraPass v.8.20 with the EntraPass Go Pass mobile application also makes it possible to view exacqVision videos in hattrix, with a continuous connection, easier configuration and without port routing. Since this feature is enabled on the server, IT team involvement is no longer required and users will be able to connect their exacqVision NVRs to the hattrix system.
