      Details     21 November 2017          *Latin America.* With the increasing use of IoT devices and the increased need for connectivity anywhere, anytime, it is more than evident that the demand for higher bandwidth is increasing at a rapid pace.

Video is now king, so data centers have no choice but to be prepared for higher speeds and increased stress on their networks, which is why CommScope is substantially expanding its full portfolio of fiber solutions needed for each and every network speed.

"Data center managers need to know that their infrastructures must now be able to handle large amounts of uploads and downloads, big data analytics, and cope with an overall increase in demand," said John Schmidt, vice president of Data Center Solutions at CommScope. "We know that today our job is to help identify, design and build data centers that are ready now and for the future, with the ability to quickly and efficiently scale up or down, because flexibility makes the backbone strong."

The latest features of the High-Speed Migration Platform include enhanced high-density panels, which support all types of single-mode and multi-mode fiber, and secure them to protect active links during variations. CommScope also provides a fiber performance calculator to reliably predict application performance. These tools provide users with loss targets for the high-performance links they have designed, as well as the distance supported for high-speed single-mode or multi-mode applications.

Other features of the complete portfolio provide modular ultra-low loss (UL) components that keep cloud infrastructure, hyperscale or enterprise infrastructure scalable and flexible.
