The measure comes after an agreement between different transport sectors, the Buenos Aires Ministry of Security and the provincial Transport Agency and was announced by Governor Daniel Scioli. After the violent episodes that occurred in recent times in the buses, which included attacks with fatalities, there were different meetings between Buenos Aires officials and businessmen in which they addressed the need to implement these monitoring systems with the aim of providing greater security measures to public transport. As it was known, the costs of installing the equipment would be agreed between the companies and the Buenos Aires government, and the cameras must be in all transport units before Next January 1, mainly in those buses that comply with the night service. - Publicidad - It is also indicated in the resolution that companies must report which vehicles will have this technology to the Regulatory Body of Vehicle Technical Verification.
