To the 34 cameras that it currently has, another 27 will be added that are already in the Municipal Warehouse and of which only their installation is expected, because the poles and 11 kilometers of fiber optic are mounted, which will connect them with a modern monitoring room, which is under remodeling. The cost of these new cameras was 1,200 million pesos (about US$650 thousand), of which the Ministry of the Interior contributed 900 million (about US$490 thousand) and the Municipality the remaining 300 (About US$160 thousand). The Monitoring Center is in the process of being remodeled. The first stage has already been completed, which had a cost of 166 million pesos contributed by the Mayor's Office.
