      Details     26 February 2013           ![alt](https://www.ventasdeseguridad.com/images/stories/VDS/Noticias/escuelasegurachiapasmexico.jpg)*Mexico.*  Around 29 federal schools will be part of the "Safe School" Program, with the intention of guaranteeing the integrity of students, teachers and administrative staff of Industrial and Services Technological Baccalaureate Centers (CBTIS), as well as Agricultural and Training for Industrial Work.

The representative of the Undersecretariat of Higher Secondary Education in Chiapas, Julio César Santos Puón, reported that in the first stage a video camera equipment was installed in the CBTIS 144 of Tuxtla Gutiérrez; In addition, the CBTIS 169 of Cintalapa is also already in management of the same with the local authorities.

He also announced that in the case of educational institutions in the capital of Chiapas, the "Safe School" program is within the Municipal Development Plan to guarantee the safety of students.

Regarding the case of CBTIS 144, eight video cameras were installed with a recording period of up to 30 days, of which four were granted by the City Council and the rest, the educational campus. Thus, they will monitor the strategic points of the school, such as the main entrance and the parking area.

"Each of the recordings that are made in the campuses are intended to avoid assaults and some kind of anomalies that occur in some campuses," Santos Puón said.

The images captured by the cameras are transmitted to the State Center for Public Security, where they are followed, he concluded.
