In this sense, the National Registry calculated that 2,538,867 of the 3,139,172 citizens who make up the electoral roll in this department will be able to be identified with biometric tools to avoid fraud as common as the impersonation of voters. To this end, the Registry will install 1,702 biometric stations in 16 of the 42 municipalities of Valle del Cauca: Cali, Buenaventura, Buga, Caicedonia, Candelaria, Cartago, El Cerrito, Florida, Jamundí, La Unión, Palmira, Pradera, Sevilla, Tuluá, Yumbo and Zarzal.
