Pelco's IP video security products will be linked to the Omnicast surveillance solution of IP security specialist, Genetec.Pelco Camclosure IP, IP3701 Spectra IV IP, Spectra Mini IP and Sarix megapixel camera series systems are supported by Omnicast, a solution that provides system design flexibility and easy transmission for customers to migrate their analog systems to IP.

Francis Lachance, Genetec product manager for Omnicast, says that with the union of the solutions of these two companies, the beneficiaries and winners are the customers.

Terry Carver, Pelco's director of API business development, says the collaboration with Genetec demonstrates Pelco's commitment to having true open supplier systems.
