HID Global's naviGO™ software received an "A" rating, the highest given by Veracode for application security.The software, a key component of *HID on the Desktop*, earned this recognition because it passed tests that measure compliance with industry benchmarks such as the Common Vulnerability Enumeration Standard, the Vulnerability Scoring System, and the requirements of the National Institute of Standards and Technology, which determine system weaknesses and vulnerability severity levels.

Within the *HID on the Desktop* platform, which controls physical access through cards, readers, and software, naviGO™ manages the user authentication lifecycle through credentials, including contact smart cards (with digital certificates), high- and low-frequency contactless smart cards, and *knowledge-based authentication*.
