With the MobileIPCamViewer, customers can observe and control cameras connected to Dedicated Micros digital video recorders via their cell phones, without having to be in front of the computer or security control station. mobiDEOS' technology and expertise in the world of Internet and cell phone communications joins Dedicated Micros' expertise in surveillance technology. "Together we can solve customers' remote monitoring problems and deliver a higher return on investment," said mobiDEOS, Inc. CEO Sri Palasamudram. The visualizer has already been integrated with major cell phone manufacturers, such as Motorola, Nokia, BlackBerry(RIM), Sony-Ericsson, Sanyo, LG, Samsung and HTC, with support for more than 300 different models. In addition, Dedicated announced a change of role for its president and CEO, Alan E. Calegari, as interim director, who will provide strategies and support for the executive team in the Americas.
