      Details     16 June 2008          *Italy.*  The integrating firm Pickel Security has installed and passed the tests of the system of personal exploration and detection of hidden objects by means of passive millimeter waves GEN 2, of Brijot Imaging Systems, which was installed in the second largest air terminal in Rome and the fifth in importance of the Mediterranean country. Brijot's system was chosen for its ability to detect materials imperceptible to most existing systems, such as liquids, gels, plastic explosives, narcotics and money. In addition, the use of passive millimeter wave power satisfies privacy, security, and outcome concerns. The full-mobility radiometric scanner does not affect the health of employees or passengers, nor their privacy, it can distinguish between the heat emitted by the human body and that of hidden objects without detailing the body parts of the individual subject to inspection. The system can be used alone or as part of a broad, multi-layered solution.
