      Details     17 February 2015          *![](https://www.ventasdeseguridad.com/images/stories/VDS/louroenoti_feb2015.jpg)International.*  Louroe Electronics, a global leader in audio control within the security industry, recently announced that its CEO, Richard Brent, was appointed as Chairman of the 2014 SIA (Security Industry Association) Committee.

"To be named Chairman of the 2014 Committee is a real honor. The commitment to SIA members to make a difference for our association in the industry is paramount," said Richard Brent, CEO of Louroe electronics, who also added that "being selected for this award is incredible because it recognizes my commitment alongside my continued relationship with SIA and our combined mission to strengthen the security industry."

John Stroia, Chairman of the SIA Board of Directors, will introduce Brent to him as President of the Year during the SIA Annual Meeting at ISC West.

The program will take place at the Sands Expo & Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Tuesday, April 14.
