      Details     05 September 2007           *Mexico.* Between the remainder of this year and 2010, 7,826 surveillance cameras will be installed in Mexico City in those areas with the highest criminal incidence. This new security project that reaches four billion pesos, contemplates the implementation of a center that will store all the information on security called C4, which includes an emergency and immediate reaction center in the Federal District.

In the first stage of the program, 771 teams will be installed, in the second 3,608 and in the third 3,447 in schools, banks, recreational and commercial centers, among other places where there are high rates of insecurity.
