Latin America. Glaucio Silva, Cristian Barraza and Guillermo Sandoval have been appointed Sales Directors in the region to implement Genetec's ambitious plans in each of its assigned territories.
The changes came after Jason de Souza took over as general manager of Latin America and the Caribbean: "My goal is to mark our presence in different countries with key professionals who are able to serve our client portfolio in an integrated way, working with a focus on meeting the demands of the various verticals and respecting the business cultures of each country," explains de Souza.
"Scaling up operations in Latin American countries will enhance our ability to drive growth and seize new opportunities across the region, while strengthening relationships with regional partners and integrators," adds de Souza.
In Brazil, Glaucio Silva joins the company as the new Sales Director. With more than 18 years of experience in the security industry and leading sales teams in recognized multinationals, Glaucio's objective will be to define the commercial strategy in Brazil to achieve ambitious sustainable sales growth in the country.
Cristian Barraza assumes the sales management of the Spanish-speaking countries in South America, Panama and Costa Rica. Cristian brings with him more than 6 years of sales leadership within Genetec and more than 25 years of experience in the industry. Its objective will be to implement the successful strategies applied in the Southern Cone to the Andean region, Panama and Costa Rica, with the flexibility to respond to new local challenges.
Guillermo Sandoval also expands his leadership from Mexico to the other countries of the Caribbean and Central America. Under his leadership, Genetec has had a growth in Mexico of more than 30% in the last 2 years and his experience will be key to strengthening the company's presence in new markets.
"With the three new directors, Genetec strengthens its presence in the Latin American region and continues to provide strong support to our partners and customers. They will have the main role of connecting regional priorities with the company's main objectives," concludes Jason de Souza.
