International. The perimeter security systems company CIAS Security has just announced the increase of its operations in North and Latin America, geographical areas that it considers strategic markets, with priority business verticals.
Originally from Italy, CIAS Security already has a U.S. headquarters and storage facility in Miami, Florida. Now, thanks to its expansion plan, it will have an additional location in Montreal, with full-time staff on the ground.
"We have exported our systems to the U.S. for the past 14 years and now feel the need to have a full-time presence in these very important markets," said Raffaele De Astis, CEO of CIAS Security. "This will allow us to penetrate the Americas by expanding our reach and connecting daily with strategic partners and customers here," he added.
CIAS Security specializes in the manufacture of outdoor intrusion sensors such as microwave barriers and high-security fence detection systems, which are used in prisons, utilities, nuclear power plants, and industrial sites in the U.S.
Looking for new integrators
The company is also expanding its network of integrators, installers and distributors in North America, while looking to more aggressively venture into the energy, corrections and transportation verticals, with a particular focus on airports.
"This expansion will further increase our market share in the United States, Canada and the Americas, while strengthening CIAS' global position," added De Astis, who said that technical support to integrators and end users is a priority in the context of this strategic move.
"Our current customers will continue to receive the same high quality of service. We look forward to growing our customer base and serving this market with even greater efficiency and responsiveness," concluded CIAS Security's CEO.
The company's expanded entry into North America will take place in the coming months. In addition, CIAS will be present in September at the Global Security Exchange event to be held in Dallas, where the public can visit them at booth 1518.
