Mexico. Genetec Latin America inaugurated an Experience Center in Mexico City, a space whose purpose, according to the brand, is to publicize and test the right tools to succeed in the current moment of security.
This new space, which is located in Chapultepec Uno, Paseo de la Reforma No. 509, is intended to be "the perfect place to delve into the world of security, operations, intelligence and unification, an elementary concept in any security strategy."
In such a way that this Experience Center, demonstrates interactively the possibilities of the brand "through the unification of access control, video surveillance, license plate recognition, voice communications, intrusion and video analysis" teaching how "companies can be strengthened thanks to better situational awareness".
From the sales magazine of Seguridad we had the opportunity to enter this space and be in an exclusive interview with Guillermo Sandoval Sánchez, sales director of Genetec in Mexico, who told us a little more about this space and the plans of the brand.
VDS: How did you come up with the idea of creating an Experience Center in Mexico?
Guillermo: arises from being able to consolidate ourselves more as a brand, we already have experience in Mexico of more than 10 years, so having this space is a long-term bet. We seek that our integrators and the community of end users, both public safety and private initiative, know what we can do, and thus be able to consolidate ourselves as one of the leading manufacturers in the Mexican market.
VDS: What similarities or differences does this Experience Center have with those that already operate in other countries?
Guillermo: It is one of the first of its kind worldwide, apart from our corporate offices in Montreal and Paris. In Latin America it is specifically the first and then will come Sao Paulo.
This center is relevant because here integrative users can use it to maximize the demonstration of what we can do with them.
VDS: Who can visit these facilities and how should they do it?
Guillermo: The facilities are open to all end users who require a security solution, a platform for unifying security, operations and intelligence. We can serve them directly as demand generation or VDM.
Finally, Guillermo stressed that one of the most important points is "to also give our integrators a platform for them to maximize their sales with their end users."
