Detail of the solutions presented
In a nutshell, Altronix contributed to the Intersec 2023 event with an enhanced portfolio of NetWay and NetWay Spectrum PoE and fiber solutions that fit 802.3bt cameras, illuminators, access products, LED lighting, and more.
With up to 90W per port, the new midspans and ruggedized PoE switches fit fiber, hybrid and structured cables for a wide range of indoor and outdoor applications.
However, "Altronix Pace1KRT single-pair long-range Ethernet adapters transmit power and data up to 1000 m over a single pair." Therefore, they are ideal when deploying IP devices over long distances for urban surveillance, elevator communications and HVAC applications, among other categories.
According to an official statement from Altronix about the event, NetWay PoE adapters "add value to your system and allow the installation of up to two devices through a single cable. The NetWay3012P converter/adapter provides PoE+ (30W) and 12 VDC to simultaneously power a camera along with an external microphone, among others. The NetWay2ES 2-port switch provides up to 30W per port (60W total) for cameras, illuminators and more, reducing installation time and material and labor costs."
Another device is the Tango1B PoE charger/power supply, "a unique and pioneering Altronix solution for power access control, converts a single 802.3bt PoE input into two (2) regulated 12 VDC and/or 24 VDC power outputs simultaneously."
It takes advantage of low-voltage installation methods, reducing labor costs associated with dedicated conduits and cable lines. The added value is that when combined with Altronix stackable subassemblies, "Tango can support up to 8 locking devices, including power for controllers and accessories, and charging for a single backup lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery."
Finally, Altronix also showed in this space its expanded offer of Trove power and access integration solutions, which allow you to easily combine Altronix power and accessories with the main access brands, saving valuable space and installation time.
According to the brand, "Trove solutions are available in wall or rackmount configurations, and now include high-capacity expanded models to accommodate more access control hardware with or without Altronix power."
