Argentina. On behalf of the Municipality of Banda del Río Salí de Tucumán, the Mayor, Darío Monteros, and the Secretary of Security, Marcelo Moreno, visited the SoftGuard office of Puerto Madero to analyze the progress of this municipality with respect to the implementation of technology for citizen security.
Received by the Director of SoftGuard, Virginia D'Eric, and the commercial manager, Darío Álvarez, they analyzed these advances in which Mayor Monteros has been focusing leading the municipality to become an example of innovation and application with criteria managing to significantly reduce the crime rate.
As a novelty, the municipality has implemented, through an agreement with the Supreme Court of Justice, together with the OVD (Provincial Domestic Violence Office), the incorporation of the BRS App in violet Code mode to attend to victims of gender-based violence.
The BRS Violet Code App empowers the women victims of the municipality, today with 1,200 cases in treatment and provides comprehensive assistance at the request of SOS, as well as joint work with the different areas for the comprehensive address and post-emergency accompaniment.
It is worth mentioning the response protocol implemented in the Municipality, which has a body of municipal lookouts, who work together with the urban monitoring center and the Tucumán Police, providing an immediate response to the emergency request of a victim in danger.
The preliminary results of the implementation of the BRS Violet Code App have shown a reduction of 90 to 10-15% in the number of cases, being fundamental the deterrent role played by the App in the hands of the victims where the aggressor desists from violent attacks knowing that the user is now connected and protected.
