Argentina. The Municipality of Rojas, located in the province of Buenos Aires, launched its "Safe Municipality" program, a set of tools for managing alerts, citizen and municipal security, hand in hand with the services of SoftGuard.
This program, which improves between government officials and neighbors in the sector, allows the latter to improve security to achieve a collaborative and integrated community.
This launch was attended by Nicolás Scardino, secretary of government, Hernando Paradela, undersecretary of modernization, Silvana Loso, responsible for monitoring and Valeria Montenegro, director of 'gender violence'.
In the presentation, the advisor of the Safe Municipality program, Sergio Manuel Gutierrez, made a live demonstration of the SmartPanics app, with the use of alerts and attention of the operators of the monitoring center, to check live the operation in real time.

The Municipality of Rojas has implemented the SmartPanics app to assist people in case of receiving an alert, in addition to monitoring and centralizing data from the different reports and care centers.
This App is a tool available to every citizen of Rojas, which allows you to report violent acts, emergencies or request effective and immediate assistance. It also serves to send multimedia and location information, which serves as a testimony of an event or aggression.
On the other hand, Código Violeta, is the app in charge of the comprehensive approach to situations of gender violence, from prevention, monitoring, assistance and access to justice. This application generates reports to the municipal monitoring center in an easy and fast way.
In conclusion, the "Safe Municipality" program and all its tools, such as school corridors, public transportation and assistance for the elderly, among others, provides the Municipality of Rojas with options for its public policies to be effective, efficient and innovative.
