Mexico. The consultancy Great Place to Work Institute recognized Axis Communications as one of the best companies to work for in Mexico, after the publication of the list in which the brand ranked sixteenth in the category "less than 50 employees".
The company's Regional Director in Latin America, Leopoldo Ruiz, points out that "within the team we all contribute to achieving the mission of a smarter and safer world. That is why it is so important for us to always apply ethical business practices, seek sustainable solutions and make decisions that represent our values. And in this sense, we share ideas and work together to find solutions that make a significant difference in people's lives."
The company's offices in India, Canada and the United States have earned Great Place To Work certification, in addition to receiving a number of awards, including no. 1 in U.S. manufacturing and production companies by 2021. This 2022 award for Mexico is proof that growth strategies also have a focus on sustainability, where people are the cornerstone of all the work done inside and outside.
"We are proud to be a progressive, forward-thinking company that actively embraces diversity and inclusion," said Claudia Hernandez, Human Resources Manager for Latin America. "The diversity and culture we have at Axis is important as they go hand in hand with our approach to sustainability, where we seek several initiatives that promote better working conditions, ranging from stress management training programs, to activities that promote diversity and inclusion."
The company has been characterized by promoting a conscious hiring process where it is sought that the offices in each region can grow in terms of number of people, at the same time that the team diversifies. The goal is for both men and women to have the same opportunity to create and innovate regardless of their career, religion, preferences, skills, skin color or language.
"Everyone's voices here are important. We share ideas and comments about our work and what we live day by day. This helps us to constantly innovate and discover new areas beyond what we have done in the past. I like to feel that the role of the team and its tasks can influence our organization, to the extent that each time Axis continues to innovate and set technological precedents. That is only achieved with a committed team in love with their work," concluded Claudia Hernández, Human Resources Manager for Latin America.
