International. The Italian company specialized in robust video surveillance solutions, Videotec S.p.A, has been acquired by Motorola Solutions.
Videotec designs fixed and panoramic tilt and zoom (PTZ) cameras with the purpose of withstanding extreme conditions and dangerous environments of critical infrastructure, specifically ports, power and transport, where video security is essential.
Videotec's portfolio enables security operators to have clear visibility into these configurations to quickly detect and respond to abnormal events or dangerous situations, reducing security threats and supporting business continuity.

The acquisition of Videotec complements Motorola Solutions' line of fixed camcorders, expanding its portfolio and reinforcing the company's position as a global specialist in video security solutions.
