Latin America. Dahua Technology announced the update of its entry-level IP surveillance system including IP cameras, NVRs, switches, etc., which allows to achieve a better connection, use and maintenance of the system. End users can quickly learn how to install an IP security system that shows high expandability, openness, and compatibility in certain scenarios.
- Various connection modes available for easy connection. PoE (Power over Ethernet) and WiFi technologies are used to reduce cabling difficulties for end users and suppliers when installing IP security systems.
Meanwhile, Plug&Play (PnP) allows the IP monitoring system to adapt to hardware changes with minimal user intervention. If the IP camera is connected to the NVR's built-in switch, the camera will automatically initialize, while the images will appear directly on the NVR screen. If the IP camera is connected to an external PoE switch, the Plug & Play feature must be manually enabled on the NVR interface. In this case, NVR will automatically search for the IP camera on the LAN and add it automatically.
- Ease of use in Dahua DMSS and Cos Pro. By integrating the NVR channel management feature into these two applications, end users and installers can complete a number of operations, such as device search, initialization, channel addition, preview, and drawing, on their phones, by setting up a small IP security system. They don't need to use additional monitors and laptops, which greatly simplifies the configuration of the IP system.
For ease of maintenance, the system supports pairing device keychains via DMSS. When users forget the password, they can recover it in the DMSS app easily and quickly. Meanwhile, the device supports convenient cloud updates. When the device is hosted on the Cos platform, the installer can receive the device's fault information in the Cos app and perform basic fault handling remotely.
This updated entry-level IP surveillance system, opens the possibility for users to enter the IP world, this mainly applies to small shops, apartments, villas and other small security scenarios.
