Motorola Security arrives at the Video Security market in 2018 with the focus of offering the market products of a brand with recognized prestige for its quality and durability as is tradition in Motorola, but, in addition, with special attention to anti-hacking protection, the latter issue, which has become one of the main quality features for all those who manufacture devices and systems that use computer networks as a vehicle of interconnection.

Motorola Security aware that the electronic security market has traditionally been divided into 3 main segments, these are as follows:

- Publicidad -

• The low-end market or segment. This segment is mainly focused on prices, in this segment, the technological offer does not play a relevant role.
• The mid-range market or segment. This segment is complicated, since in this segment customers require technology that truly responds to their security needs, and at the same time adjusts to budget constraints. Thus, maximizing the concept of Cost-Benefit in this segment is fundamental.
• The high-end market or segment. In this segment, budget is not a problem, so it focuses on offering the most advanced technology, without its cost being an obstacle.

Market studies conducted globally indicate that even with the pandemic, the electronic security market will continue to grow and that the CCTV or Video Surveillance sector points to a growth of more than 7% for the next 5 years.

This study revealed that, of the 3 segments mentioned above, the middle segment is the least assisted segment by CCTV manufacturers, since the available technological offer is directly linked to high costs and hinders the implementation of satisfactory solutions.

However, it is an extremely important segment, since, in this segment, 30% of the technological demand of the sector is located, whose clients often do not find an adequate response to their needs due to the high costs of implementing advanced technology, or being forced to sacrifice the implementation of true solutions to adjust to the available budgets.

This is how at Motorola Hellosecurity we identify this segment as our starting point. With the experience acquired during the last 93 years developing and manufacturing electronic technology products, the prestige it has gained for the quality and reliability of its products, it was logical to participate in this segment, to provide the market with solutions with a quality mark at reasonable prices that certainly optimizes the Price-Value ratio.

We have placed emphasis on products that fit the current needs of the market, such as products that comply with GDPR and NDAA, anti-hacking protection regulations. Attacks and cyber hacking represent today, the greatest threat to all systems that use computer networks for their interconnection and data transmission, and for no one is a secret the serious problems that have arisen in the public domain during the last 3 years related to the weaknesses that certain products have shown in the face of this problem. Well, our equipment has high efficiency encryption, thus offering data protection and data privacy from potential hackers.

In terms of technology, what do we bring to the market?
The popularization of the use of advanced artificial intelligence such as facial recognition and license plate recognition, among others without licensing cost up to 256 video channels. This fact comes to respond to many projects that, due to budget limitations, were delayed due to the absence of a brand that gave an answer from the manufacturers. Many clients have had to divide their projects into part executable according to available budget and the other part to be developed in the future due to the cost of their implementation.

In terms of hardware, our portfolio brings, high definition analog systems, as well as IP systems, with resolutions from 2 to 8MP and systems capable of handling from 4 channels to 30 thousand video channels, from the implementation of client network architecture to client-server architecture.

In terms of software, we offer 3 options (MVMS Lite, MVMS Standard or MVMS Professional) focused on giving our customers the ability to implement the level of their convenience, in addition to also offering the mobile application for tables or cell phones in IOs or Android operating system. Being the MVMS Lite version, totally free capable of monitoring systems of up to 256 video channels.

Our recording systems, both DVRs and NVRs are stand-alone systems based on Linux, not based on PC, thus increasing operational stability and protection against cyber piracy.

Aware that, in the Latin American market, investment in analog HD products is still a necessity, we bring cameras and recorders compatible with all high definition analog formats in use currently, such as HD-AHD / HD-TVI / HD-CVI / HD-CVBS products. This multi compatibility allows integrators to offer low-budget projects with a higher quality, and as Motorola Hellosecurity analog recorders are hybrids, it allows the gradual migration to IP systems without this meaning a budgetary impact for customers, as well as replacing cameras of other brands that have gone out of operation with our cameras for their compatibility.

The compatibility of Motorola Hellosecurity equipment is the widest on the market. In addition to being approved with ONVIF v19.06, we have compliance with the ONVIF profiles we are also natively compatible with the two best-selling brands in the current market. This makes us a system that facilitates the gradual migration of any existing system, to a technological evolution to the next level that our products represent.

Vision of Market Development in Latam
At Motorola Hellosecurity we believe in the development of markets by selecting strategic partners (Distributors) and that through them we achieve the corresponding presence in their market. By Motorola's ethical principles, the relationship is established directly with the chain of distributors, and these with the integrators and installers of its territorial scope. Contrary to what Asian firms have done, we do not want to flood the Distributor market. We are convinced that working with strategically chosen partners represents the most direct way to achieve shared success, both financially and in marketshare.

Motorola fosters loyalty and long-term relationships, this is the foundation of the development of mutually beneficial business relationships, both for the distributor, its integrators and customers, and for Motorola.

Added Value
Our solid portfolio is accompanied by a policy of pre and post sales support to our business partners, in addition to our continuing education and professional improvement programs, offering both commercial and technical certification courses for our associates, their customers and users of Motorola products.

In this way we guarantee that, not only our distributors have the ability to offer the advice required by the pre-sale and design of a technical-commercial proposal, but also, we educate the end user of the product, so that they always obtain the best performance of the product purchased in favor of its safety. In this way we generate added value, accompanying our distributors and their customers, throughout the cycle of the design of the solution, its sale and its implementation.
For Motorola, there is no better way to safeguard and support the prestige gained over the years in the technology market than satisfied customers.

In Motorola Hellosecurity we are growing in presence in the Latin American market so we invite those distribution companies that are actively looking for a line of products in CCTV with a robust brand, of global prestige, that generates added value, with advanced technology at reasonable prices and a clear market development policy based on the best business practices, to contact us at the following address:
