Spain. LiveSmart Tecnologías SpA, a Chilean company specialized in Self-sustaining CCTV surveillance systems in Chile and Central America, was in charge of the project to provide and install more than 40 poles with solar energy, transformed with photovoltaic panels, in order to guarantee the safety of the Solar Plant located in Jerez De La Frontera, in the southern region of Andalusia, Spain.
The 50MW Solar Plant located on eight plots, since last October 2021, received the team of engineers and technicians of LiveSmart, to carry out the installation of the entire Security System with Solar Poles, which are strategically located on the perimeter, to alert and expose possible unwanted intrusions, or alteration of the normal conditions of the photovoltaic park.
Support from ProChile
As a result of the coronavirus pandemic situation that affects the whole world, the problems of this project in Chile were diverse, among them: lack of stock of local products, import of elements with delays, international logistics for the transfer -by sea-, without containers and spaces. Work permits for professionals and technicians and their displacement, and international labor certifications, are some to highlight.
However, LiveSmart Technologies, under the direction of Nolberto Muñoz, had the support of ProChile, a Chilean government entity, which promotes the export of goods and services as a business model of Chilean companies for the world, who supported all the logistics of this export and generated diplomatic relations and economic agreements between Chile and Spain.
Chilean Engineering
To comply with the contract for the supply, assembly and commissioning of a security and surveillance system for a photovoltaic solar plant in Spain, and following the guidelines dictated by both governments in terms of export and import, a logistics of transfer of all the inputs, cameras, poles, boards and elements, which traveled from Chile to Spain, was developed.
Hikvision, an ally of this company, was the supplier in charge of supplying the cameras to meet the demands of the project, merging visible IP cameras with thermal cameras.
The design, architecture and engineering of the system is from LiveSmart Tecnologías SpA, so its technical team and / or Chilean specialists moved to Spain for approximately 6 weeks, time defined between the parties, for the installation, training and commissioning of the CCTV security system with self-sustaining poles, delivering an efficient solution and full compliance of the Spanish company.
"We are already interacting with other Spanish companies to develop more projects in different countries," said Nolberto Muñoz.
