Mexico. With the aim of consolidating the video surveillance market in Mexico, Axis Communications added Ingram Micro to its portfolio of authorized distributors, which will allow the manufacturer to strengthen its network of channels for the generation of new electronic security projects.
On April 7, the companies announced their union for the countries of Central America, the Caribbean and South America; with the integration of Mexico, both companies now intend to lead the market for network video and audio solutions in Latin America, in addition to promoting a core security solution that is materialized in the video management software (VMS) AXIS Camera Station.
Leopoldo Ruiz, Regional Director for Axis Communications in Latin America commented: "One of Axis' main strategies is to expand its market in Latin America. Today our goals begin to materialize with this new alliance that we signed with Ingram Micro in Mexico. The benefits for our existing channels, and those that we manage to capitalize on at the beginning and course of this alliance, will not only be at a financial level (which will be achieved through Ingram Micro, thanks to the possibility of maximizing its investment fund potential), but our existing and new partners will be able to find a range of security solutions that will allow them to strengthen their offer for customers".
The incorporation of Ingram Micro to the network of wholesalers will complement and enhance the program for the channel in Mexico, significantly expanding access to solutions, products and services of guaranteed quality for a new group of customers, adding a partner for Axis that will help achieve the objectives and goals for the business of 2021.
"We are very pleased to have signed this partnership with Axis and its cutting-edge solutions. With this strategy Axis comes to complement our offer with innovation technology. We are confident that together with our channels we will achieve great business in Latin America," said Luis Ferez, Director of Ingram Micro for Mexico, Colombia and Peru.
The ability to be with a wide variety of integrators in sectors such as retail, government, banking, mining, oil, gas, hospitality, data centers, etc., will give both companies to enhance their presence. In addition, it will strengthen the success of the Axis-Ingram Micro relationship that already exists in the local American market in the United States, Central America, the Caribbean and South America.
Ingram Micro is a distributor of technology solutions. From Latin America they attend all commercial opportunities for clients through a regional team in their Miami Export Center.
