At the last ISC West fair, Altronix presented the new HubSast series, UTP Transceiver Hub with integral camera power. The HubSat4 transmits UTP cable video (CAT-5), has RS422/RS485 data input, four camera channels and video transmission range, handles above 750 feet per channel. The power of each channel is selected individually and handled by the 24VAC or 28VAC outputs and OFF position.Optionally the HubSat4 can be used to transfer video from four cameras over CAT-5 twisted pair or a higher structure to connect to any hubWay or HubWayLD UTP Transceiver Hub active transmitter. For this configuration the HubSat4 will provide power for these localized cameras eliminating the possibility of voltage drops associated with the long cables.
