Colombia. Germán Cortés, president of Insetrón, shared the news of his Marketplace Seguridad.co, within the framework of the International Security Fair ESS+ 2022, which took place in Bogotá last August.
Germán, who is widely recognized in the security industry, was in an interview with the Security Sales Magazine, in that space he commented that although the pandemic caused remoteness, during the last years he continued to promote his consulting offer, in addition to other activities, such as the training days he carried out in virtual format, so he was able to expand the scope of this training proposal to all of Latin America, something that he considers relevant since security "is part of a guild in constant expansion".
Likewise, Germán spoke of seguridad.co, its beginnings as a project and the state in which it is today, with the addition of a Market Place and the RNS (National Security Registry), a space that can be used by the different providers of services and products of the security industry to be more visible in front of partners, customers and other actors.
Finally, the president of Insetrón ventured to answer a question from our activity "Security challenges in Latin America" How to help the agile identification of suspicious people in a shopping center or public place? The expert indicated that today's technology helps a lot, because it allows to review all the areas to be monitored from a control center, where the human, properly trained, can identify vandalism in process, but above all generate alerts and prevention about suspicious attitudes.
Germán concluded by expressing that: "It's not all technology, it's not any technology; it is the union between human resources and technology. It's the perfect balance, because we're definitely not going to be able to overcome human intelligence so quickly."
