Colombia. Carlos García Almeida, CEO for Latin America at Magal Security Systems, commented in an interview with the magazine Ventas de Seguridad, that he sought to establish contact with new suppliers and technologies, in his participation of the ESS+ in Bogotá.
During the first hours of the International Security Fair ESS+ 2022 in Colombia, Carlos assured that there was a good influx of public and new faces, as a contrast since the last meeting he could attend. Faced with his intentions to attend the event, he confirmed that, as an integrator for critical structures, he sought to be in contact with new suppliers and technological innovations.
Of the visit in Colombia, the CEO stressed that it is strategic for his company, due to the similarity in language and culture he has with Mexico, his native country. On the other hand, he stressed that there is a difference between both markets, such as the administration that is made to the prison system, the generation and distribution of energy or private investment, among others.
Finally, Carlos reported that Magal's plan is to have a greater presence in Colombia to participate in critical infrastructure projects, and in the other verticals that represent an interest, taking advantage of the new government that can promote this type of exchanges. "The changes are good, you have to adapt. You have to generate a plan, an expectation and work on them."
